Important Update for Farmers

The secretary of state has announced the following at the NFU Conference this morning:

Farming Equipment and Technology Fund

• There will be another round in Spring 2025

• A greater focus on innovative technology and equipment that is commercially viable – full lists will be available soon

• £30m available for Productivity and Slurry

• £16.7m available for Animal Health and Welfare

Capital Grants

• The scheme will re open later this year for new applicants but with the following limits:

• £25k for water quality, air quality and natural flood management

• £35k for trees and boundaries
